The AKP government continues to appoint trustees to DBP municipalities.

After the arrest of Çatak Co-mayor Celalettin Bartu, district governor Hacı Asım Akgün as appointed as trustee to Çatak Municipality in Van.

Similarly, Tekman district governor Kemal Karahan was appointed to Tekman Municipality in Erzurum.
