The Turkish state seeks to intimidate the Kurdish people who stormed a Turkish base in southern Kurdistan earlier today.
Earlier today, people in Sheladize region stormed the Sire base where Turkish military units are statoned in protest at the recent Turkish aerial attacks that killed 4 civilians.
The people set fire to the mobile tents in the Turkish military base and some of the tanks. Several other vehicles were also burned down.
As the protest continued, Turkish soldiers abandoned the base and retreated.
The people demand the Turkish troops evacuate the bases and leave Southern Kurdistan.
Following today’s protest, a number of Turkish helicopters have landed in the mentioned military base.
Reports from the ground suggest that Turkish forces have started to search for the soldiers that have dispersed in the surrounding area after the protest began.
