The Turkish state and their allied gangs are attacking villages in the Shehba region and they are evacuating villages.

Shehba Administrative Assembly Co-chair Ismail Musa stated that the Turkish state targets the liberated zones in Shehba and added: “Even though the Turkish state ended the Euphrates Shield operation on March 30, they continue to attack the liberated zones of Shehba. They attack because they don’t want the liberated zones of Shehba to be organized and they don’t want the people living in peace.”

Shehba Administrative Assembly Co-chair continued with: “The Turkish state and their allied gangs are spreading propaganda that the liberated zones will be handed over to them to create chaos among the people of the region. The people are not affected by this propaganda and the struggle against the Turkish state and their allied gangs will continue.”

Ismail Musa said the Turkish state’s policy of evacuating villages continues.

Musa said the Turkish state employed the village evacuation policy not only against the Kurds but against all the peoples of the region and continued: “The people of Neiman village told us that Turkish soldiers threatened them, telling them to leave the village when they would order it a few days later or they would kill them. The Turkish state is telling the Arab, Kurdish and Turkmen people to evacuate their villages. This way, they will settle in their own gangs in the villages instead of the people.”

 Shehba Administrative Assembly Co-chair Ismail Musa called on all the people of Shehba to not be tricked by the Turkish state and their allied gangs and to fight against them together.
