Turkish military continues to conduct airstrikes against PKK-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.

As airstrikes against guerrilla areas have been intensified in recent days, Turkish jets today targeted the Xakurke and Xinere areas.

The bombardment which began at 09:30 local time this morning is going on.
