Intense clashes broke out following the Turkish army’s military dispatching to the rural area between Dersim’s Zaxge (Sarıtaş) village in the Pülümür district and Deşt (Doğantaş) village in the Nazimiye district.

Forest fires broke out in the rural areas of Zaxge and Deşt villages when Cobra type helicopters launched aerial attacks. As the operation continues, there are reports of mortar fire from the army outpost and that the fires have spread widely.
