Turkish army bombs Sheranish village in Zakho

The Turkish army has bombed the Sheranish village in Zakho twice in one week. The mortars fired hit a house and caused material damage.

The Turkish army carried out an attack in the Sheranish village of the Zakho province on March 22 with fighter jets, and again on March 29 with Howitzers and mortars at approximately 21:00 in the evening.

One of the mortar shells hit a house in the village. The mortar shell hit the roof and caused severe material damage. Neighboring houses were also damaged as 3 mortar shells hit the village.

The Turkish army had bombed Sheladize, the Pirbila village in Zakho and villages in Qandil before. The Hewler administration continues to remain silent in the face of these attacks, and some statements issued excuse the attacks.

The regional government and Baghdad don’t react at all to end these attacks, which causes greater and greater protests among the people.
