Experiencing a bind in domestic and foreign policy, the AKP-MHP fascism is resorting to weird attack methods to get out. The state has added dropping flyers to their psychological operation arsenal.

A DESPERATE FLYER

Invading Turkish state’s planes have been dropping flyers over the Medya Defense Zones’ skies that read as follows:

“A total of almost 900 members of the terrorist organization have surrendered to our forces this year, and they have all made a new beginning. You can be one of them.”

The flyers have been dropped on both guerrilla and civilian areas. A photograph of a soldier in fatigues and a balaclava and a “guerrilla” who surrendered, with his face blurred, was added under the flyer.

The locals say they didn’t understand anything other than that the soldier is Turkish, because they read/write in the Sorani-Arabic alphabet, and that they couldn’t make sense of the flyers being dropped over residential areas.

“THEY HAVE NO OTHER METHOD LEFT”

Guerrillas said they find the method laughable, and continued:

“Counter-revolutionary flyers! That was the fashion in our youth, we would use flyers to expose the enemy in university and youth efforts or to call people to our actions. The enemy started to use the method in the ‘90s. Even though it doesn’t work with the guerrilla, they continue to drop them. We hadn’t actually seen the flyers since the disbanding. They would use the sworn enemies of the Freedom Movement who entered alliances with the KDP and various dark powers and fled back then. Today these pieces of paper thrown at the Medya Defense Zones show that the enemy is empty, ugly and has failed after trying all they could.”

750 GUERRILLAS LEFT?

Meanwhile, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu had claimed that there were “a mere 700 to 750 guerrillas left”, but the flyers’ claim that “900 members surrendered” exposes his lies.
