Turkish military forces have reportedly launched an operation in the Munzur Valley region of Dersim province.

The road leading to the Ovacık district has been blocked due to the operation.

On the other hand, Cobra helicopters took off from the 4th Commando Brigade in Dersim center to join the operation at around 15:45 local time Thursday afternoon.
