Turkish army has launched an operation in the area between Dibek (Derxus), Yolçatı (Sise), Çağdaş (Cenezur) and Yalaza (Kerwas) villages in the countryside of Amed's Lice district at 02:00 last night.

Several helicopters and armored vehicles in addition to a large number of soldiers have been dispatched to the operation area.

Huge explosions are heard from the operation zone during the day amid ceaseless activity of Turkish warplanes. Soldiers have set up checkpoints on the roads leading to the neighborhoods in the operation zone and are performing ID checks as the operation continues.
