The Turkish army targeted a civilian car on the move in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) on Sunday.
According to reports from the ground, the vehicle was moving from Mosul to the Batifa area when it was struck by the Turkish army in an area between the villages of Banke and Bosele.
Local sources report that two civilians, 40-year-old Ehmed Şakır and 26-year-old Yusif Omar lost their lives as a result of the attack.
The scene of the attack is a picnic area used by the local people.
