Forces of the occupant Turkish army have attacked the town of Erîme 20 km west of Manbij with mortar and artillery fire. The villages of Boledq, Mehsenlî and Ereb Hesen to the north of Manbij were also hit b y Turkish artillery strikes.

The attacks of Turkish troops have caused material damage on civilian settlements in the region. Locals fearing a massacre have been forced to leave their houses.

During the artillery strikes that began this morning and lasted till noon, 5 mortar shells have landed on the town of Erîme.
