The Turkish state continues with its practices that trample on humanitarian and religious values.
Turkish police and soldiers raided the Asri Cemetery in Agri’s Diyadin district and removed tombstones of fallen PKK fighters.
The “security forces” broke all the tombstones with the word “martyr” or Kurdish symbols on them.
According to an eye witnesses district governor Salih Yasar also came to the cemetery during the raid and assault on graves. The flowers laid on the graves by families were also removed.
Recently Turkish authorities desecrated the graves of PKK members in Bitlis, Mardin and Amed provinces in Northern Kurdistan.
