After he announced the establishment of Jarablus Military Council and expressed his opposition to the Turkish state’s plans of occupying Jarablus in a press statement yesterday, Council General Commander Abdulsettar Al-Cadirî was assassinated by Turkish Intelligence Agency (MİT) agents in the Şêxler front.

MİT agents murdered Al-Cadirî 3 hours after the press statement in Şêxler. Al-Cadirî was taken to the hospital but doctors could not save him.

Jarablus Military Council members captured the 2 MİT agents that assassinated Al-Cadirî and began to question them. Jarablus Military Council is expected to make a statement on the murder today.
