The rally of Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu in Şırnak has ended up with fiasco.
Şırnak's İdil district was chosen for today's rally of Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu and his team in Botan region of North Kurdistan, for which preparations have been ongoing for days by utilizing all the means of the state.
The Minister who had threatened the Kurdish people “Let them declare self-governance if they can” was met with empty streets as the people protested the AKP fascism with the spirit of self-governance.
A wall at the entrance of the district was covered with a writing "We salute Mehmet Tunç", which was demolished by police forces before the arrival of the minister.
The district residents expressing their thoughts said: "We will not forget the YPS martyrs. In memory of Mehmet Tunç and our martyrs, we will continue our struggle. The people of Botan are Leader Apo's ideas' shape in flesh and bones."
Public servants were brought to the rally area as no locals attended the meeting of the AKP minister.
