Turkish jets bomb guerrilla zones in southern Kurdistan

The Turkish state’s genocidal attacks against the Kurdish people and their lands continue in various parts of the Kurdistan territory.

The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) released a statement providing information on the Turkish state’s air strikes against guerrilla held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

Accordingly, Turkish fighter jets bombarded the Small Cilo and Shikefta Birindara areas in Zap region, Goshine and Sinine areas in Xakurke region and Kunishka area in Zap region on February 14.

Further air raids by the Turkish army targeted the Saca area in Zap region, as well as the countryside of Çukurca (Çele) district of Hakkari on February 15.

HPG added that the bombardments did not result in any losses in guerrilla ranks.
