Turkish F-16 warplanes have started to bomb the surroundings of Şırnak's İdil district where a state of siege continues for 16 days.
The aerial strike is reported to be targeting the rural area between the villages of Hedil (Kayı) and İvan. Turkish aerial activity continues over the area, close to the Cehennem Deresi (Hell Gutter) where 12 people had been killed by Turkish airstrike last week.
In the meantime, clashes are ongoing in İdil district centre as Civilian Defense Units YPS/YPS-Jin are responding to the state forces' attacks on Turgut Özal neighborhood. Ongoing artillery strikes have started fires in many houses.
On the other hand, reports are coming through that Turkish jets are also bombing the countryside around the villages of Kılavuz (Xelila) and Baysun (Dinar) in Mardin's Dargeçit district.
