Turkish jets have shelled Gare and Zap areas of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory Monday evening.

The bombardment against the two areas was conducted at around 20:30 local time.

Activity and reconnaissance flights of Turkish warplanes over Gare, Metina and Zap is also going on.

Turkish state has recently intensified aerial strikes against guerrilla areas within the scope of its all-out war campaign against the Kurds who continue facing ongoing attacks by Turkish forces in Bakur (North) and Rojava (West) Kurdistan.
