Turkish jets have been conducting airstrikes against PKK-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory since last night.

Following last night's bombardment against Qandil region of guerrilla zones at 23:00 local time, Turkish jets have also started to shell Çiyaye (Mount) Spî and surroundings as of 10:00 local time today.

The bombardment against the area which is near the Zinava village in Duhok's Zavite district is reported to be going on.
