Thousands joined a march in Rojava's Girkê Legê city in protest at the Turkish military incursion into Jarablus and massacre of civilians to the accompaniment of gang groups.
The march organised by TEV-DEM with the motto “No Turkish invasion in Rojava” was joined by thousands from Girkê Legê, Rimêlan, Çil Axa and Til Koçer cities.
Representatives of Rojava Autonomous Administration, TEV-DEM, Northern Syrian Federal System Constituent Assembly, Kongreya Star, political parties and NGOs also participated in the march which began at Martyr Xebat Square.
Speaking at the demonstration which began with one minute's silence, Kongreya Star Executive Member Şehnaz Ebdo condemned the massacre committed by occupant Turkish army and affiliated gang groups in Jarablus.
Ebdo said; "Our revolution is a revolution of humanity. I tell the traitors that their conspiracies and plans will be failed by victories of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces)."
Speaking after, Northern Syrian Federal System Constituent Assembly Member Akif Şerif condemned the aggravated isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the massacres perpetrated by the Turkish state and gang groups in Jarablus.
Stressing that the Turkish state and affiliated gangs targeted the Northern Syrian Democratic Federation project, Şerif called on the peoples of Syria to unite around this project in order to eliminate all the attacks and conspiracies aimed at it.
