Mount Sincik in the countryside of Dersim’s Hozat district has been bombed by the Turkish army for the second time in the last three days. The mountain was shelled by Turkish fighter jets, armed unmanned aerial vehicles and Cobra type helicopters on August 14 morning, resulting in a wildfire.

While the fire in the region continues, yet another aerial bombardment has been carried out Saturday morning.

According to reports, Cobra type helicopters shelled the region at between 05:30-07:00 this morning. Following the shelling, Turkish army airdropped soldiers around the mountain with Sikorsky helicopters and launched an operation.
