State forces with a number of armored vehicles raided houses in Geventepe (Reşa Sebrî) neighborhood in Karayazı district of Erzurum province on Friday. Report suggest that clash erupted in an empty house during the raid, and the house was set on fire by the state forces.

While the siege and clash in the neighborhood continues, people are not allowed to leave their homes. There is reportedly an arrest warrant for many residents of the neighborhood.
