Turkish troops have set fire to the forests in the rural areas of the Mağara (Kîwex) village located in the skirts of Mount Bagok in İdil, Şırnak province.
While local sources report that the wildfire was started by the artillery fire of Turkish troops, the fire is reported to be spreading to a larger area as authorities take no action to extinguish it.
Another fire broke out in the rural areas of the Haberli (Basibirîn) village in İdil. The cause of the fire, which is also spreading, is unknown.
