Turkish fighter jets started a bombardment on Qandil region of PKK-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory at 15:30 local time Friday afternoon.

The airstrike is reported to be targeting mainly the area of Dola Bedran.

Turkish jets also shelled Avashin and Çemçu areas earlier today.
