Two Êzidî children have been freed from the clutches of ISIS and reunited with their families.
Minors Zahit Sihêl Mahîl and Amîr Xêyrî Berkat ended up in ISIS captivity during the genocide perpetrated by the savage gangs against Êzidî people in Shengal on August 3, 2014. Both have been rescued from ISIS captivity by fighters of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and reunited with their families by Khanasor Assembly Co-chair and TAJÊ (Movement of Free Êzidî Women) Assembly.
Khanasor Assembly Co-chair Qasim Xelaf spoke to ANF and stated that they were happy the two minors have reunited with their families today while they are still sorry for witnessing the pain suffered by other kidnapped children, each of whom has a devastating story.
Xelaf thanked the SDF forces and wished them success in their battle against the savage gangs.
Khanasor Assembly Co-chair called on the Êzidî people to return to their lands and take part in the defense and administration of their land.
Parents of the two rescued minors thanked the SDF forces for bringing their children back to them, and voiced their wish that all the Êzidîs in ISIS captivity are freed in the soonest time.
