As the heavy onslaught continues in Şırnak's Silopi district for the fifth uninterrupted day, state forces are conducting increasing artillery attacks on neighborhoods where people continue to resist.
Hüseyin Güzel (70) and Yusuf Aybi (80), who died after a bombshell hit their houses in Başak and Barbaros neighborhoods two days ago, couldn't be buried yet due to the ongoing siege and attacks.
While Güzel's body remains in his house, Aybi's body is held at Hz. Ebubekir Mosque in the neighborhood.
