Two guerrilla fighters martyred in the Zap region

Two guerrilla fighters died during an air attack of the Turkish army on the Zap region in Southern Kurdistan. The HPG published their names.

According to the Press Centre of the People's Defense Forces (HPG), two guerrilla fighters died on 7 July during an air attack of the Turkish army on the Zap region in Southern Kurdistan.

Regarding the martyrs, the HPG said that Egîd Cûdî and Zana Farqîn grew up and were socialized in a patriotic environment shaped by the Kurdish culture. Both of them joined the guerrilla ranks at a young age to fight for the liberation of the Kurdish people. "In their guerrilla life, they managed to fulfil the necessities of a selfless and militant attitude with great commitment and success. Against the occupation attempt of the fascist Turkish state, they have fought as guerrilla fighters of the Democratic Modernism in the front line and have become a torch that illuminates the path of their comrades. With their commitment, selflessness and iron will they were a source of morale for their comrades," said the HPG press office.

The HPG expressed their sympathy to the relatives of martyrs  and the patriotic people of Kurdistan and gave their word to continue the struggle of the martyrs and to realize their dreams.
