French photojournalist Gael Cloarec and Siyasihaber.org reporter Duygu Yıldız were taken into custody by police in Nusaybin district of Mardin Friday noon.

Both journalists were detained at Mitanni Cultural Centre and later taken to Nusaybin police station with armored vehicles.

No information was immediately available regarding the detention of journalists who have been in the town for news coverage for one week.
