A group of youths have closed a road to traffic near Koşuyolu Park in Amed's Bağlar district to protest the genocidal attacks of Turkish forces in North Kurdistan.
A number of armored vehicles were rushed to the scene and police teams opened fire on youths who responded to the attack and set several cars on fire, which resulted in clashes. Sounds of arms and explosions are coming from the area as clashes have spread to side streets.
The aggression by police forces left two people dead, while a minor wounded here has been hospitalized. Bodies of two slain people have been taken to Selahattin Eyyubi State Hospital. ID details of none is clear yet.
The district is also witnessing an intense helicopter activity.
