Two killed, seven wounded in Silvan
An ongoing siege and onslaught by Turkish military and police forces in Silvan district of Amed has left two people dead and seven others wounded since the imposition of a curfew early this morning.

An ongoing siege and onslaught by Turkish military and police forces in Silvan district of Amed has left two people dead and seven others wounded since the imposition of a curfew early this morning. The wounded are being denied access to hospital by police forces.
Attacks by Turkish security forces have intensified in the neighborhoods of Konak, Mescit and Tekel.
Reports from local sources in Konak neighborhood say that six civilians wounded in the attacks remain outside the Hz. Ömer mosque in the district. Local people say that security forces have also opened fire on the people who tried to go near the mosque to take the wounded.
Police forces have furthermore hindered a delegation of local administrators including co-mayors as they attempted to enter Konak neighborhood to reach the wounded civilians.
Turkish forces are also reported to be launching mortar fire on the neighborhoods, trying every way possible to enter them where they however meet resistance by locals.
Some mortar shells have hit houses in the neighborhood and started a fire in the area. Building of KURDİ-DER on Azizoğlu Avenue is also on fire.
