Two people die in Turkish attack on Mawa

Two people were killed, and two others were injured as the result of an attack launched by the Turkish state in the Mawa region on Tuesday.

The Turkish state launched an attack on Tuesday in the rural areas of the village of Xirbêkûr (Palamut) in the Mawa region. It was stated that clashes followed during the night.

According to the information obtained, two people were killed, and two others were injured in the clashes that continued with the support of drones, F-16s and helicopters. While those injured and those killed were taken to Batman Training and Research Hospital, entry and exit to the village of Xirbêkûr was prohibited.

It was stated that the ban on entry and exit to the village will last until 3 July.
