UNICEF delegation visits Efrîn Canton
A delegation from the UNICEF is visiting Rojava's Efrîn Canton to observe the situation of the refugees.
A delegation from the UNICEF is visiting Rojava's Efrîn Canton to observe the situation of the refugees.
The delegation includes Emergency Coordinator of UNICEF in Syria Hisham Jubly, UNICEF Bureau manager Radow Silav Rezihak, Food and Health manager Israa al-Khalaf, Peace and Security Official Bassel Daqish, and Child Protection Official Helen Nianjoya.
The delegation was received by the two co-chairs of Health Council Anjella Risho and Muhammad Nour, the Regulatory Committee head of Health Council Nashaat Zibar, and Democratic Society Training Committee head Azad Sabry.
The Autonomous Administration delegation received UNICEF members in Jatal Ziarah village in Sherawa province. Then they headed to the Democratic Autonomous Administration center in the canton.
The delegation of the organization is expected to visit officials from the Body of Health and Health Council, and take a tour to schools. The delegation is also expected to visit the Robar and al-Shahba camps for an inspection of the situation of the refugees sheltered here.
