DİHA reporter Mazlum Dolan, who has been trapped in a basement in Sur, called DİHA headquarters as well as HDP Group Deputy Chairmen Çağlar Demirel and emphasized the urgent need for ambulances. Dolan stated that a civilian called Fatma Ateş was critically injured during a Turkish army bombardment, and could die any time if ambulances do not evacuate her. Dolan noted that Fatma Ateş was nearly 70 years old, and got critically injured from her foot and shoulder.

Bombardment noises were heard during the phone call Dolan made to HDP Group Deputy Chairmen Çağlar Demirel, and the call got disconnected abruptly.
