Village guards (local groups armed by the State to fight against the Kurdish people) started a fire in Mount Cudi near the Görümlü town in the countryside of Şırnak’s Silopi district.

According to reports, the fire was started in an area where village guards and Turkish soldiers are intensively stationed, and the soldiers in the Turkish outpost in the region do not allow an intervention to the fire.

The fire is continuing for days, spreading to a larger territory every day.
