Villagers from Raqqa are delighted to have their villages liberated from ISIS gangs by ‘Wrath of Euphrates Action Room’ fighters.
Villagers of Raqqa, whose villages have been liberated from ISIS gangs during the initiative to liberate Raqqa launched by ‘Wrath of Euphrates Action Room’ fighters on November 5, spoke to ANF. Villagers stated that they escaped from ISIS gangs as the gangs used them as human shields, and ISIS oppressed and tortured people and pillaged villagers since they occupied the region in 2014. Villagers complained of the gangs’ imposition of so-called Islamic laws, oppression and torture.
'YOUNG WOMEN FORCIBLY MARRIED TO THE GANGS'
Villagers of Raqqa stated that women were treated differently and girls between the ages of 9 and 16 were forcibly married to the gangs and taken to Raqqa city.
'THEY WANTED TO USE CHILDREN'
Villagers stated that ISIS gangs closed down schools after their occupation and gave lessons on so-called jihad and sharia, and added that they did these things to use children in the future.
Lastly, ISIS gangs reiterated their needs for life supplies because ISIS gangs pillaged their houses, and thanked the fighters of ‘Wrath of Euphrates Action Room’ for the liberation of their villages.
