A violent explosion took place in the Şêrewa district of Efrîn. At least 50 people got injured during the explosion that took place at the checkpoint in Xezawiyê village where people migrating to Efrîn are processed.

The number of people that died during the explosion has not yet been clarified, and the wounded people were taken to Avrin Hospital for treatment.
