Were six guerrillas who died in Bitlis countryside executed by soldiers?

Six guerrillas lost their lives during a Turkish military operation in Bitlis countryside. The one bullet shot on the head of each guerrilla arouses suspicion that the guerrillas might have been executed.

The Turkish army launched an operation in the rural areas of Germav (Ilısu) village in Bitlis on January 12. During the operation that continued for two days, six guerrillas lost their lives and at least 2 soldiers were killed.

Bodies of the guerrillas killed here were taken to the morgue of Van Regional Training and Research Hospital, and shown to the their families for identification. It grabs attention that all these guerrillas had one bullet shot on their heads, which brings to minds previous cases in which soldiers had captured guerrillas alive and then executed them.

Bodies of three guerrillas have been identified and given to their families, while 7 other bodies still unidentified are held in the hospital morgue. These bodies will be buried in the cemetery of the nameless if they are not reclaimed by families within one week.
