Woman escaping from Bab talks about ISIS terror

Fatima El Mıstefa, who ran from ISIS-invaded Bab with her family and took refuge in the liberated areas in Manbij, talked about the practices of ISIS, the enemies of women and humanity.

Fatima El Mıstefa (36) came from Bab that is invaded by barbaric ISIS gangs, entered the areas liberated by the Manbij Military Council from near the Osecli village and took refuge near the freedom fighters.

Mıstefa said she has 5 children, and ran from Bab because of the oppression, cruelty and looting of the ISIS gangs with her husband and children to the areas in Manbij that were liberated by the Manbij Military Council fighters. She stressed that the ISIS gangs were trying to set up women’s battalions and they had increased the pressure on the women to that end.

Fatima El Mıstefa said women faced violent torture because of the so called Shariah practices of ISIS gangs. She told that a lot of women had been stoned to death and many others whipped.

Mıstefa said the gangs kidnapped, tortured and raped women who had broken their “Shariah” laws, and that one of the women raped by the gangs was her relative.

Fatima El Mıstefa said that the husbands left the women who were “punished” by the gangs, that the “punishing” of the women was considered a great shame and a sin for the husbands in the society and many of the men had to leave their wives due to the psychological pressure.

Fatima El Mıstefa said they were safe in the liberated areas, and that she won’t return until Bab is liberated. She called on SDF forces to liberate the Shehba region, especially the city of Bab, which are under ISIS and SNC (Syrian National Coalition) occupation.
