Mother of six, 48 year old Mülkiye Geçgel, who had been wounded as a result of an armed attack by police forces during the 9-day curfew imposed in the district, has lost her life today.

Yet another one has been added to the list of 21 civilians, including babies and children, who were massacred by state forces during the nine days of curfew in the district which witnessed savage attacks by police and special operation teams against the people.

Mülkiye Geçgel had been receiving treatment at Batman State Hospital after getting heavily wounded by bullets fired by police during the curfew of last month. The woman was later discharged from hospital but didn't recover, upon which she was taken to Şırnak State Hospital for a surgery yesterday.

The woman lost her life after suffering a heart attack which she couldn't survive with all the pains and a fear of operation at hospital. With the death of Geçgel, death toll related to the attacks of state forces in Cizre rose to 22.

48 year-old woman will be laid to rest in the district today.
