Protests against the Turkish state invasion attacks in South Kurdistan are growing.
Young people have launched a human shield action in Qandil and this has been followed on Sunday by a protest promoted by women.
A group of women calling themselves “Women against occupation” has come from Sulaymaniyah, German, Sharezor Kirkuk and Raperin to Bradost. The women organised a march and a press conference.
The women, including mothers of martyrs, academics and activists, first visited the villages of Mêrge Reş and Geliyê Şêx Zade in the region of Bradost. Women met with families whose relatives were injured in the attacks carried out by the Turkish state.
The women called on human rights organizations, political parties, international institutions and organizations to take action against the invasion attacks launched by the Turkish state.
The women also went to the village of Geliyê Şêx Zade in Sidekan and organized a march there. Then the members of the women delegation went to the village of Mêrgereş and held a press conference.
