The basement has witnessed the seventh death among the wounded today, of Sultan Irmak, after an aggression by state forces deployed in the area upon the attempt of Cizre Municipality ambulances to access the building to rescue the trapped civilians. 9 other people near the wounded in the basement were set to carry the casualties outside, from where ambulances of Cizre Municipality was going to take them to hospital.
Today's aggression that came soon after the arrival of ambulances has demolished a wall of the basement, which has closed the single way out.
Police authorities have in the meantime denied the aggression and demolition, upon which Cizre district governor has sent two fire brigade staff to check the scene. These two were also hindered by police to the building.
