Operation Wrath of Euphrates Spokesperson Cihan Şêx Ehmed saluted and congratulated the participants of Hewlêr march. In his message, Ehmed condemned the international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the Kurdish people and said “As Operation Wrath of Euphrates Command, I respectfully salute your march from Sulaymaniyah to Hewlêr.”

Below is the full text of Operation Wrath of Euphrates Spokesperson Cihan Şêx Ehmed:

“Undoubtedly, every step you take during this march is of great value to everyone who calls themselves human and protects the values of humanity. It should not be forgotten that our enemies have always sought to eliminate our Leaders during the rebellions of Kurdish people in history. This is what is being done today.

In this regard, the march you launched is important for foiling the conspiracy. It should be known that taking such a stance will defeat the enemies of Kurdish people that are attempting to repeat history.

Taking advantage of internal betrayals, enemies of the Kurds have colonized Kurdish people with the treaties of Qasr-ı Shireen and Lausanne. Afterwards, they tried to destroy Kurds with massacres. However, they still could not eliminate the Kurdish reality. They failed to do this because Kurds are one of the ancient peoples of this sacred geography. However, they never gave up on this goal and have pursued policies to aiming to colonize the Kurdish people and their geography.

“THEY TRIED TO ELIMINATE THE FREE KURD IN THE PERSON OF LEADER APO”

Through the conspiracy against Leader Apo, they tried to eliminate the reality of free Kurd. However, they were mistaken this time and they did not achieve any results. Kurds are not the Kurds of the past. Kurdish youth knows about their reality as a people and has joined the struggle for freedom. This is the reality in Kurdistan, Rojava, Bakur, Rojhilat, Europe and anywhere else. Today, everyone sees and acknowledges this reality.

Let us not forget that the youth is the pioneer of free futures of peoples. The conspiracy was defeated with the national stance of Kurdish people and Kurdish youth that rose up and enhanced the struggle for freedom around the ideas of Leader Öcalan and with the consciousness of democratic nation and unity. Now, nobody can eliminate the gains that have been made with great sacrifice.

On this basis, the resistance in northern, western and southern Kurdistan has yielded great gains. It should not be forgotten that freedom does not come without a price.

As the revolutionary forces of Rojava, we take our place in the war against ISIS gangs. We send you this message from the battle field in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates. It should be known that we will continue our resistance under any circumstance. In order to defeat this dark day with our struggle, we will show the whole world this reality through an achievement of free individual and society, free women and the Kurdish people's struggle in national unity.
