Xoy earthquake leaves 7 dead, hundreds injured

7 people lost their lives, and more than 800 others were injured following the earthquake in Xoy city of East Kurdistan.

On January 28, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 shook the city of Xoy (Khoy) in East Kurdistan. It is reported that 7 people lost their lives and more than 800 people were injured in the earthquake.

Hundreds of people whose houses have been seriously damaged are struggling to survive under harsh winter conditions without any humanitarian aid.

Iranian officials claim to be assisting the citizens, but images show that this is not the case.
