Yagiz: I’m not well, but I’m determined!
HDP member Nasir Yagiz’s health has deteriorated after 73 days (and counting) on hunger strike in Hewler. Yagiz said, “I’m not well but I’m determined to continue until the isolation ends.”
The hunger strike HDP Member Nasir Yagiz started in Hewler to protest the aggravated isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan is on day 73.
INCREASED SYMPTOMS
Yagiz has regular checkups every day. His doctors said he has lost a significant amount of weight, and has serious symptoms like nausea, vomiting, headaches and blood pressure issues.
Yagiz said: “My health is not well, but I am determined to continue my protest. Doctors come and do checkups every day. The protest we started against the isolation will continue to the end. I will continue my protest until the isolation imposed upon Leader Apo is ended.”
