YBŞ Commander Agir Cefrî buried in Shengal

Agir Cefrî, one of the YBŞ commanders who fell as a martyr in an air attack carried out by the Turkish state, was buried next to his brother Martyr Heci Xelef.

YBŞ Commander Agir Cefrî, who fell as a martyr in the attack carried out by the Turkish state with an Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SİHA), was buried on Monday night. Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ) and Shengal people attended the funeral.

Agir Cefrî was taken from Xanesor to Shexşims Cemetery by a large convoy. Martyr Agir Cefrî was buried right next to his brother, Martyr Heci Xelef.

The Turkish state attacked a vehicle belonging to the YBŞ forces with an Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SİHA) near the village of Behrava, near the town of Xanesor in Shengal earlier on Monday. YBŞ commanders, Pîr Çeko and Agir Çefrî, fell as martyrs in the attack.

Commander Agir Cefrî, closely witnessed the massacre of the Yazidi people in 2014. He joined the ranks of the struggle to liberate Shengal from ISIS mercenaries.

Cefrî's brother, Hecî Xidir Xelef, fell as a martyr in an airstrike carried out by the Turkish state against the Sikêniyê Hospital in 2021.
