The march that was held yesterday evening began in front of the youth center and ended with the statement in front of the culture center in Maxmur.

Hundreds of young people participated in the march and Bedran Yuruk made a statement on behalf of the youth. In his statement, Yuruk drew attention to the attacks carried out against Kurdish people and called upon everyone to enhance the resistance against these attacks with the spirit of resistance.

Yuruk said “Blacksmith Kawa lit the fire of Newroz and Mazlum Doğan fueled it. This fire was started against Dehak and is being fueled today against fascism and betrayers. There is war in four parts of Kurdistan today. We will make this Newroz an uprising against the betrayers.”
