YPG: 108 ISIS members killed during three days of clashes in Shaddadi

YPG reported that 108 ISIS members were killed in Shaddadi and bodies of 71 were seized alongside their arms and military vehicles.

YPG Press Office has announced the results of three day-long clashes between YPG/YPJ fighters and ISIS gangs in Shaddadi.

Accordingly, ISIS gangs launched an intensified attack targeting an area extending up to Azawî village 15 km on the southern line of Shaddadi on August 23rd.

"ISIS gangs gathering from Iraq, Raqqa and Dera Zor attacked our positions with six bomb-laden vehicles for three days. All the six vehicles have been destroyed by our forces. Apart from that, two more vehicles, including one Hammer, were also destroyed by YPG fighters."

YPG stated that 108 ISIS members were killed during three days of clashes after which the wave of attacks was completely broken. Bodies of 71 ISIS members were seized alongside their arms, in addition to several military vehicles.
