YPG Press Office released a statement providing details regarding the continued attacks of the Turkish army, allied gangs and ISIS on the lands of Rojava, West Kurdistan.
Accordingly, Turkish reconnaissance aircraft flew over Maranez, Vîla Qadi, Malikiyê and Belûnê villages of Efrîn at noon on March 28. The reconnaissance activity was followed by a bombardment on the mentioned villages with howitzer and mortar fire, to which YPG forces responded immediately.
At 24:00 on March 29, gangs affiliated with the Turkish army attacked Efrîn's Maranez village. YPG forces responded to the attack, which left 2 members of the gangs dead and 3 others wounded.
On March 30, the Turkish army attacked Til Xatuniye village of Tirbespiyê with heavy weaponry. YPG forces responded to the attack, which resulted in a brief clash in the area.
On March 31, Turkish soldiers opened fire on locals working in their fields in Kelhesenake village of Tirbespiyê. The attack caused material damage.
At 11:00 on March 30, ISIS gangs attacked Alwa village of Shaddadi with katyusha fire.
At 11:00 on March 31, ISIS gangs attacked the YPG positions to the east of Shaddadi close to the border with Iraq.
