YPG Media Center issued a statement on the recent Turkish army, ISIS and SNC attacks on Rojava. YPG emphasized that the Turkish army continues to attack Rojava lands and has attacked the village of Ziyaret to the west of Kobanê on the morning of August 21 with heavy weaponry. Turkish soldiers also attacked the village of Esefa to the east of Kobanê on the evening of the same day with heavy weaponry.

YPG stated that ISIS gangs carried out 2 missile attacks in the village of Qadiriyê to the southeast of Tishreen Dam and the area to the west of Ayn Îsa on August 21.

The Media Center noted that SNC-affiliated gang groups continue their attacks on Sheikh Maqsoud and targeted the neighborhood from the direction of Seken Şikeyf at 05:00 on August 22. One gang was killed during the clashes here.

SNC-affiliated gang groups also attacked the village of Tilsilor in Afrin’s Cindires district around noon on August 21.
