YPG (People's Defense Units) General Command has sent a new letter to the Ceasefire Watch in Syria Coordination stating that artillery attacks by SNC gangs on Sheikh Maqsoud (Şêx Meqsûd) neighborhood of Aleppo continue.

The letter states that the gangs have killed 3 more civilians on April 13 and some civilians, including children were injured.

YPG’s letter is as follows:

“To the Ceasefire Watch in Syria Coordination,

We would like to inform you that the artillery attacks of gang groups (Ahrar Al-Sham, Al-Fetih Battalion, Sultan Murat Battalion, Jaysh Al-Mucahidîn, 16th Division, Nûreddîn Zenkî Battalion, Division Al-Shamaliye, Festeqim Kema Umirt Battalion, Suqur El-Cebel, Cundul Eqsa, Fatih Sultan 22nd Battalion, Division 1st Sahilî, 116’s Battalion, Alaya Yekem, Brigade 13, Ebû Emare) in Syrian National Coalition (SNC) have continued their attack yesterday (April 13, 2016) at 13.30.

These gang groups have targeted the 20th Street and Ebî Talib Mosque surroundings with heavy weapons, mortar shells, improvised missiles and sharp shooters. In the attacks, 3 civilians fell martyr and several civilians including children were wounded.

The names of the civilians who lost their lives are:

* Fayêq Hesen Bekir, 64 years old

* Fatime Mihemed
