YPG Media Center announced that one child was massacred during recent Turkish army attacks.
YPG Media Center issued a written statement on the attacks and clashes that took place on November 9, 10 and 11:
“1) ISIS gangs attempted to attack the Mekmen village of Sheddade around 14:00 on November 9 with a car bomb. Our forces destroyed the car bomb before it reached its goal.
2) ISIS gangs attacked and shelled our forces in Malha village in the afternoon of November 9. The gangs carried out a similar attack with armored vehicles and heavy weaponry on November 10. Clashes broke out when our forces responded, and our fighters destroyed a car bomb and damaged one earth digger and one motorcycle belonging to the gangs. 6 ISIS gangs were killed during the clashes.
3) ISIS gangs carried out 4 artillery attacks against the villages of Qedriyê, Kurdîşan and Şemseddîn to the southeast of Tishreen Dam in Kobanê around 15:00 on November 9 and between 11:00 and early evening on November 10.
4) The Turkish army continues its attacks on Rojava and has attacked civilians that had gathered by the border in the Şiyê district of Efrîn canton on November 10. Simultaneously, Turkish soldiers shelled the villages of Senarê and Merwaniyê. One child fell as martyr and 6 civilians got injured during these attacks. Turkish soldiers’ shelling of the region caused great financial damage.
Turkish soldiers shelled our positions in Senarê village in Şiyê district around 13:30 on the same day, and our forces responded to this attack with heavy weaponry. The Turkish army shelled Senarê village without a pause on the morning of November 11.
Lastly, SNC affiliate gang groups carried out simultaneous attacks on Efrîn canton. The gangs shelled the villages of Maranez and Eyn Deqnê in Efrîn on November 9 and 10.”
